Turinela

Turinela is a boutique family-run agricultural estate of the Volarević family, with 1,100 olive trees and 400 hazelnut trees. It is located on the green hills of Mali Turini at an altitude of 250 meters in eastern Istria.

Our multiple world award–winning extra virgin olive oil is produced through an early harvest, which gives it a significantly higher polyphenol content, antioxidants that together with low acidity make this EVOO especially healthy.

“Turinela”is a fairy from an Istrian legend. According to which fairies built the Pula Arena in a single night, carrying stones from Mount Učka. At dawn when the sun rose, the fairies dropped the stones and hid in the treetops. One of them, Turinela, hid in the treetops of our olive grove and now gives every one of our oils a touch of magic.
